Garofalo has created a pasta shape inspired by the italian pasta maccheroni. This curly macaroni pasta ( or elbow macaroni ) is perfect for the classic and creamy mac and cheese but goes well with many other sauces too.
Garofalo is known worldwide for their quality pastas and this durum wheat macaroni is no exception! It's been made by master pasta makers in Gragnano, Naples.
It's easy to cook semolina macaroni at home - simply put your desired amount of pasta into a pot of boiling water with a bit of salt and wait for it to cook (approx. 11 min) remember to stir to prevent the pasta from sticking together.

Ready in 9 minutes
1) Bring a large pan of water to the boil and add salt if required. Keep the water at a rolling boil and add the amount of pasta needed.
2) Stir with a wooden spoon to prevent the pasta sticking together and to avoid damaging the pasta.
3) Cook for the recommended time, drain and serve.
Store in a cool, dry place.
