About the Brand
Stubb's beginning was humble and very very hard indeed. Christopher B. Stubblefield "Stubb" for friends, started selling his own barbeque sauce in a very small building, where occasionally there was some live music, blues of course. In 1991, Stubb himself was invited to a late night show, the David Letterman show, where he cooked.
Unfortunately only 4 years later he died, leaving everything to his grandson Rocky. With pride and joy, Rocky promised to make history creating more sauces and marinades....and he did.
In 2019, C.B Stubblefield joins the official ranks of BBQ royalty with an induction into the American Royal Association Barbecue Hall of Fame. A prestigious honour awarded to just three individuals a year, grandsons Rocky and Reggie Stubblefield accept on his behalf.
